The Texas Bar

Definitely the Texas Bar, as the lady on the right has written a nice note to me on the back of the photo. I did not take this one, she had the photo taken and developed.
Bill Goldrup sings and plays bass guitar for the Bowditch band.
The Bowditch crew dance to the Bowditch band: J. D. Powell, and Ray Larkin in the background, apparently getting his nose pulled.
Jim "Fat Cat" Lester and friend at the Texas bar.
Jack Barone, of General Instruments, Ken (Bowditch's Navy photographer) and Steve Gage.
Earl Adams (left) and one of Bowditch's MSTS Officers.
J. D. Powell, with a shipmate squeezing in on the photo, and John Bayne (right). The case cover and lens cover for my Yashica 120 twin lens reflex are visible on the table top in the left foreground. This was (is--I still have it) a great camera for B&W prints.
The second girl from the left, in a striped turtleneck, and the next girl (third girl from left), in the printed blouse, were super cuties!
My camera cover and cigarettes (I was smoking Pall Malls at the time) are visible on the table. We don't know who the crewman on the left is. On the right behind the raised glass is perhaps Bill Green (IDed by Ray Shunk).
