The OcUnit crew were presented with this certificate in February 1973 after we had crossed the Atlantic Ocean from Norfolk, VA, to Barcelona, Spain.

The certificate measures 10" x 12-3/8".

Here is a "home brew" plaque we made on the Bowditch. It was a piece of black English tile with the Oceanographic Unit One Patch (in decal form) attached. Then the tile was placed onto a thin piece of veneer plywood.
