Christmas Cake

Cermonial cutting of the 100 year cake given to OCEANOGRAPHIC UNIT 1 by Mrs. Molly Morris, Pentargan Hotel. A 100 year cake is a local specialty, normally made for weddings, which is served up to a year after it is made. A very thick sugar icing seals the cake from desiccation and it can last easily a year. We decided not to wait that long. Pictures from left to right are CWO Lawrence T. Harwood, ETC L Wolfre, HMC Monte G. Goodman, LCDR Schramm, and LTJG Bohnsack.
